Job 27-29
In Chapter 28 Job is speaking about wisdom and how valuable it is. Why do we NOT seek wisdom? Funny how we run after temporary and earthly things. Job also was reflecting on the days when life was good - when he felt his life and purpose. I think its noble that Job was able to remember those things. During difficult days, we often forget to think of how God has worked in the past and how blessed we truly are.
Lord, grant us wisdom. May we seek it like we are searching for treasure. May we hunger for heavenly wisdom and never give up our search. Lord, help us to be grateful for everything you have done in our lives. Give us grateful hearts and patience during those difficult days. May we learn to praise you in the storm and to celebrate Christ even in the desert days. To you be the glory!
