Job 4-7

Job's friend Eliphaz gives the first effort to figure out why Job is suffering. He says alot of things that are true, but I believe the timing of his words were not right and he lacked discernment. The part where he says, "A word was secretly brough to me..." make me think he was listening to the wrong voice. I find it interesting how the book of Job uses everyday life to explain deep things. Example: "Yet man is born to trouble as surely as sparks fly upward" (5:7), "Is tasteless food eatn without salt, or is there flavor in the white of an egg? (6:6). Interesting.

Lord let the words that come from my mouth be pleasing to you and only what is helpful to build others up.
